I have used this business before and was very happy with them. Then I took my motorhome in to be repaired again. I did not have an appointment, but I was not in a hurry and did not demand that they hurry with it. In fact, I TOLD them that I was not in need of it. I had PRINTED everything out that I needed them to look at....including ordering a new fridge, working on slides, and checking for a leak in the propane tank....this was not going to be a small amount of work....my husband and I then decided to trade the RV for a newer one and I called the shop and told asked them if they had started work on it....they politely told me they had not and would not do work on it until next Friday which would have been approximately 8 days....and that was fine with me...again, I was not mad. I had not planned on trading it until I had found what I wanted... ..I told them I was going to pick it up because we were trading it and I needed to take it to the RV dealership. 24 hours later I get a phone call saying that they had done work on it and wanted to know what else they needed to do. I asked what had they done and they told me they had checked the tires, the oil, and belts....and then proceeded to tell me that that would be $145.00......for what I asked?!!!! and then he got cocky with me and informed me to never bring the coach back and that is what I got for not having an appointment....these people have a beautiful business, and when the original owner was alive a very reputable and sound business, but they are now unprofessional, rude, liars, and crooked. AND BY ALL MEANS DO NOT WALK INTO THE STORE WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. They cannot handle that.
First off, this customer came in with a list of 11 big items for us to address, without an appointment, but with a deadline. We try to accommodate every customer but without an appointment we have to work the customer in. She stated she was in an extreme hurry, and extremely rude and her coach was outside. We had her sign for authorization for us to diagnose any concerns she had and she left in a hurry. When we went out to move her coach she had parked it in the middle of our driveway and it had a dead battery. Every time we had to move her coach we had to jumpstart it. We are a very busy repair facility we have to work on an appointment basis or work customer's through as we have time. The customer called in at 3:02 on 05/27/21 and state she had traded it off and to not do anything to the unit. At this point our technician had already done the pre trip inspection. When our Service Manager called her on Friday, May 28th prior to 9 am, he informed her of the work we had already done and the cost of one hours labor. Bare minimum charge for the time we had jockey this coach and jumpstart every time. It's a good thing we didn't order the fridge. The customer then started screaming at him, saying she would never pay for this and we were lying to her. She said, "I will never bring my coach back here" and Our Service Manager told her in a firm voice that was fine, she could come get her coach, the charge was $145 and yes, we had worked her through trying to meet her deadlines. Let me address her other comment, unprofessional?, rude?, liars? and crooked? We have one hour in a pretrip inspection for $145 charge on a vehicle that was dropped off without an appointment. Customer was made aware at the time she dropped off we would have to work her in. We didn't lie to her nor have we stolen anything from her. This borders on slander and this customer should cease and desist. Now for the kicker...the original owner was my husband, David LeMeilleur, and when this customer came in she dealt with me, Denise LeMeilleur, who also was the co-owner of this business with my husband for over 23 years. SO not only did she call my team and my business dishonorable and disgracing the reputation of our "beautiful business", she also attacked my character and the memory of my husband. We will refuse her any future services on any vehicle she has. We wish her the best in finding a service repair facility she can trust.
