Kerrville Auto Repair

Excellent experience with Dave and the whole crew. We had a complete change out of tires and wheels on our 5th wheel. They had everything ready to go as scheduled and got the job done in one day. Very courteous and careful with our home on wheels. Helped us with a couple of other things too that we weren't aware of and could have caused problems down the road. We highly recommend Lemeilleur's.

Passing through Kerrville and needed someone to look at our propane because it wasn't working. We were told they were too busy and asked if they could recommend anyone else in town. They said no they couldn't. Ended up going to another place that had excellent service and got us in and out in 10 min!! They told us by law anyone calling with a gas issue has to be looked at immediately.😡

The customer called our shop and stated he needed a regulator installed immediately. He never physically came into our shop and never was our actual customer. We told him over the phone he would have to bring the unit to our facility and wait or drop off. He never stated he had a gas leak, he just said he needed a part replaced. Honestly this review really does not hold any merit because this person has never been to our facility. Had he shown up we would have accommodated him in a timely manner. As a rule we do not make recommendations to other repair facilities because we cannot testify to the quality of the repairs or services they perform. We wish this customer safe travels and he should consider physically visiting a facility and speaking in person, because if it was something so simple I am confident with our staff we could have repaired his problem.

Our passport camper had a problem with the front cap separating from the roof. They repaired it in a short time and for a good price. Everyone was helpful and I'm pleased with the service.

For those of you who are reading these reviews, I can assure you beyond any shadow of a doubt, that once you take " anything " to David LeMeilleur to have it serviced you will not be disappointed! I have had my Tiffin Allegro Bus there on several occasions to have various things done-all without any problem whatsoever. And, it would not be fair not mention my beast!!! A 62 Chev Impala SS 409. And yes, he knows how to work on classics. This car has been a rather big challenge for Dave(as is the case with all classics). You just don't pick up the phone and call your local parts store for parts for your 55 yr old love. Make no mistake, through all the challenges and sweat, you can be assured that the work will be done exactly right-THE FIRST TIME. Four stars are certainly not good enough for this facility. David, Denise(his wife), the staff, and all of the technicians are top flight!!!!

Thanks Dave for your kind words. It is customers like you who make our job fun! We appreciate your vote of confidence and are here for you. David and Denise

We started using LeMeillers over 4 yrs ago when they performed an emergency repair to our RV to allow us to continue a trip. They regularly service our diesel pusher and our autos. Repairs to our RV have included complicated diagnostics and tackling quite a range of mechanical or RV components. All have been completed with expertise and professionalism that have left us with great confidence in their ability to deal with any issue that might come up. We recommend LeMeilleurs without reservation.

Thank you Mike for your kind words and your recommendation. We appreciate your honesty and your trust and value your business. Let us know if we can be of assistance in the future... Happy traveling in your RV!

We had an incredible experience working with Billy and the team at Lemeilleur's RV! Our Class A gas motorhome needed a new fuel pump and we had a very tricky situation-- the way our coach was built, the fuel tank was nearly impossible to access. The crew did an amazing job, came in under the estimated amount of labor, and earned our complete trust. They even reinstalled the fuel tank in a way that it's easily accessible for future repairs. 1,000 miles later, we are still running like a dream! We had a Good Sam Extended Service Plan warranty and Billy worked tirelessly with the insurance adjuster to get the full coverage of the repair that Good Sam owed us! As always, insurance companies like to try to deny coverage right off the bat, but Billy worked so well with them and with us. Also, Lemeuiller's labor has its own warranty, so there's an extra level of security with them. Lemeuiller's is a rare kind of place-- honest, hard-working, and kindhearted folks who are incredibly knowledgeable and willing to fix the hardest of problems. Just a heads up-- this shop stays extremely busy because they're the best in the area, so if you think you need to come in, call ahead and plan to leave your coach there while it gets fixed. Lemeilleur's is busy for a reason! We visited another local shop and were treated poorly-- very happy to have found Billy and his crew. Amazing service!

Thank you so much for your Awesome review! We work hard to earn our customer's trust and we feel confidant our employees exemplify this with our customers. Your review says a lot to us about our team and we will be sure to pass on the good word. If you are ever in our neck of the woods again feel free to stop in. Happy traveling in your RV! Again thank you for your business and your trust, we value you as a customer!

10/7/15 I have an appointment, I turn the truck in at 8am, check the brakes. After 12 noon I get a call brakes are fine but there is water in the brake fluid, 4%. I agree to cleaning the pads and flushing, refilling and bleeding the brakes. Silence the rest of the day, shop closes at 5:30pm. 10/8/15 I stop by at 8:30 am (shop opens at 7:30), mechanic is just now working on the brakes, they were snowed under yesterday. No answer to why it took 4 hours to pull 4 wheels and visually inspect pads and rotors ( I could have done that with a jack and a lug wrench in less time), no answer as to why with an appointment no one works on the truck. No answer as to why I was not called yesterday to give me the option to leave the truck overnight or reschedule the work. No answer why they can not foresee the work load and adjust scheduling as needed. Just excuses and apologies which do nothing, I was a worker, and management, planning and scheduling are basic to being successful. Finally get a call at 11am and the truck is done but there is a check engine light noticed yesterday that they will now finally check. Now you would have thought, being snowed under and all, that the service writer would have pitched in and helped, at least run the computerized check, I mean how hard can it be to hook up a couple of cables? Call back telling me what the issue is wanting to know if they should fix it. No! Please understand, in my younger days I was a mechanic, nothing mentioned requires any kind of certification to understand how to do it, and do it well. This is my second trip to Lemeilleur's new shop, the first time was with my Dodge p/u and that first time they were great - since then they became affiliated with NAPA. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, but they fell way down the customer service slope this time. Plan on it taking more time than you think is reasonable. EDITED TO ADD: So they had the truck for 13.5 shop hours, and booked 3.2 hours of work on the ticket - picked up the truck at 11:30 am. and talk about price gouging, under parts a quantity of one is listed under DOT 4 brake fluid. Napa, which they are affiliated with, list the RETAIL price for one LITER of DOT 4 at $12.49, they charged me $24.50 - I am a business owner so I know they do not pay retail.

Thank you James for your review and your patience with us in getting the brake repairs needed fixed on your truck. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with our scheduling. After talking to my service writer and looking over his notes, it was annotated your truck was looked at and a complete assessment of your brake system was completed by 10 am. The recommendations for the services were made by our shop foreman and given to our service writer to call you for approval. Our service writer has noted he made several attempts to reach you by phone and finally made contact with you at noon on the day the vehicle was dropped off. When he spoke with you he told you we would not have your vehicle back to you before noon on the following day. When you dropped off the vehicle you did not tell us you had and have had a recurring problem causing your Check Engine Light to come on. As a courtesy and without any charge to you we scanned and diagnosed an evap emission problem, looking at the memory this has been a frequent code stored in your vehicle and you chose not to have us look at this further. When you came in yesterday morning you were extremely condescending to myself and my female coworker. We explained we had 4 techs in the back the prior day jockeying vehicles to accommodate your repairs and that we would have you done before noon (which we did). Unfortunately, in our busy and fast paced facility if a customer makes an appointment at 7:30 and doesn't get there on time the next customer takes priority, this is what happen in your case. We take great pride in our customer service, our employees and in our affiliations like Triple AAA, NAPA, Certified Auto Repair and TIAA. Communication is vital and yes in our instant world it still takes time to diagnose and repair vehicles properly.

We took our Kia in for odd inside tire wear. They put it on the Hunter alignment machine and both front and rear toe, caster and camber were out of factory specs. After doing a full alignment, they said if we reversed our tires (inside to outside) we could get another 2/3000 miles from them. We went with their recommendation and they remounted, balanced and rotated the tires. After the alignment, the car drove like new, straight and true and we did get those extra miles without issue. Over the years, David, Denise and their team have done work for me on a Class A motorhome, a couple of our cars and also our travel trailer. They recently installed a TPMS system on our dual axle Travel trailer and also balanced the wheels. The job was done as promised and on time. We have always found them professional, fairly priced and never an issue or problem with the jobs.

Thank you so much and we are glad your vehicle has given you those extra miles! We appreciate your business and your review!
