I recently had an extreme cooling and over heating problem with the engine in my motorhome. The damage caused this incident was very extensive. Mr. Lemeilleur and his staff could not have been more diligent in repairing the engine. I appreciate his efforts to not only repairing it, but saving me from any unneccessary expense. It is very comforting to know there are still honest and reputable businesses available and I would encourage anyone needing services or repairs to contact this business.

Beware the $784.71 motorhome oil change & service. Went to this company for extended warranty work (recommended by warranty company) and thought we'd have our coach serviced while it was there. Our mistake for not asking what they charged; but after 8 years of servicing and all being within $50 we just ask for it to be serviced. Typical oil & filter, fuel filters and greasing normally around $300. Not here..labor alone was $312.50 ($125 for changing 2 fuel filters, $187.50 for changing oil & greasing), $258.86 for oil(Rotella normally $80-90), fuel filter $94.69(normally $10-15). After talking with the service writer, the owner called me. Telling me how superior their service was to anyone else's, i.e. they use RainX wiper fluid not that blue stuff that corrodes the lines and they actually grease the coach and not just say they do. He kept telling me they weren't a Jiffy Lube, his techs were certified and made more then $15 an hour. He refused to accept that we always take our coach to reputable, certified care facilities, i.e. Cummins Coach Care who do quality service for a fair cost. Before going to this business you had better check their price. I don't know how such a business can succeed if they rip everyone off this way. Perhaps it's just the out of state people they take advantage of with their exorbitant prices. The next day we received an email from them stating they were reimbursing us for $37.50 because they charged us the labor rate they charge the warranty companies which was $15 an hour higher....Generous of them wasn't it!!!!

We thank you for your coming in to LeMeilleur’s to have your vehicle serviced and for the repairs needed for your vehicle. As a business we value our customers and the trust they place in us by choosing us. Unfortunately, we cannot always make every customer happy or satisfied. Sometimes this is due to an expectation we did not know about or a service requested and performed resulting in a higher cost than the customer was prepared or expected when the job is completed. When we performed the services on your vehicle part of the repair was to evacuate and recharge the A/C system. We did not charge you for the Freon we had to use for your system. Your vehicle holds approximately 3.5 pounds of Freon at a cost of $148.75 plus applicable taxes. We did however charge you for the service at $125 for 2.5 hours of labor for a total of $312.50 and this was in error. Your actual charge should have been $275.00 therein lies our dilemma. We made two mistakes in our billing. We cannot go back to Good Sam to see if they would allow more money for the A/C Freon nor can we go back to you and yet you feel like we overcharged you for the entire service/repair. So as a gesture of goodwill we have agreed to refund you the error in your favor, $37.50. This has been applied as a credit to your credit card , your receipt is attached.In addition, Mrs. B.H. stated to David LeMeilleur, owner, she plans on making sure everyone including internet and campfire RV conversations to give our company negative reviews to discourage other RVer’s from using our facility.Just like you we are disappointed in your negative experience here. All we can do is learn from it and try better for the next customer. As a business we have worked hard to always do a good job for our customer and to fix it right the first time. All of our technicians who worked on your vehicle are ASE certified and all of our employees have to pass a background check to work for us. Got charged $165 for them doing nothing on our diesel pusher. Wasted an hour and a half of our vacation. Ripped off! Do not recommend this place! Go just down the road to KerRVille sales parts and service. Much better place!

Customer was not happy with the fact we did not find anything wrong with our diagnosis on the look at the oil leak and the slide out lock mechanism. Gave customer a discount of 52.50 due to the dispute over the cost of the total repair. Just like you we are disappointed in your negative experience here. All we can do is learn from it and try better for the next customer. As a business we have worked hard to always do a good job for our customer and to fix it right the first time. Poor diagnostics, they charge for a full hour, but most of that hour there's nobody around the vehicle, then I find out after I get my vehicle back together the problem is with something that could've been ruled out by a simple test they didn't do. And when I call to find out what's going on I get tone when I'm talking nicely just trying to figure out what was done. They didn't tell me rings, but they didn't rule out rings, instead they told me valves, and expected rings to be implied. And I thought it was implied by them not mentioning the rings that the rings were ruled out. I guess not. Poor diag. Poor communication. Now I need to take the engine back apart and spend more time and money because of this.

This customer came in with a drive-ability issue and stated he could only afford to spend 1 hour diagnosing the problem with the truck he had already done a tune up on. He asked us to plug in our scanner and see if there were any codes or anything to try to figure out what the miss in the engine was. In order to perform this test we had to plug our diag tool into the vehicle with the engine running, we also ran a compression test on his engine. With the Check engine light on and the customer already throwing parts at the vehicle and knowing he only had a limited amount of funds we were limited in the amount of diagnosing we could do. We did test compression on #1 cylinder 120 bumped to 140 psi and told customer engine needs valve job or has possible valve train lifter issue and we would need to disassemble engine to assess and make a proper diagnosis of the problem. Customer decided on his own to have a valve job done and when he and a shade tree mechanic put the engine back together he still had a problem with the engine. We can only do repairs when authorized and this customer request diagnosis only.
